A DJ's set-up needn't be a mess, it doesn't need a huge lightshow and it shouldn't take hours to set up.

What a DJ's set up should be is reliable, well-maintained, neat and up to the job. Quality vs quantity. There's no point in hiring a beautiful venue, only to have one end piled high with flightcases and an overstuffed lighting gantry.

Sensible lighting on the dancefloor, a starcloth booth hiding wires and ugly equipment, classy uplighting and a discreet, high-quality sound system that takes a reasonable time to set up and pack away. Fully insured and PAT tested.
